Taos In Watercolor 2019 Registration
Dennis Pendleton will teach both the beginner and seasoned artist how to convey movement in their work at this year's 5-day watercolor workshop in Taos. It will change the way you see composition. You will learn to use directional brushwork, creative contrasts, and rhythmic or repeating elements to make your paintings vibrate with excitement. Our scenic getaway revolves around the charming Mabel Dodge Luhan House. This rustic inn is a delightful painting sight in itself, however, we will also paint outside at a variety of southwestern sites with the shimmering light, historic adobe architecture, and spectacular desert vistas for stimulus. Rooms are being held for workshop members under the name of Dennis Pendleton and each student is responsible for lodging and meals. After a complimentary buffet breakfast, we head out to paint on location. The daily demo, one-on-one guidance, and friendly critiques make this a fun and favorite workshop students return to time and again. Come experience a painter's life as you talk, live and breathe art together with Dennis and fellow artists!
