Steamboat Watercolor Workshop 2019

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS COLORADO WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP August 15, 16, & 17, 2019 Join me for my Steamboat Watercolor Workshop in August 2019! Steamboat Springs is a special place for me because I lived up there for 10 years before I moved to Denver. The Yampa River Valley and the Elk River Valley are breathtaking and very special places to paint in all four seasons. The ranches and ranch life are of particular interest to me and in the workshop we have the privilege of painting on the Zabel Ranch with longhorn cattle, old homestead cabins, classic old weathered barns and the original bunkhouse which is now Curtis Zabel’s sculpture studio. Forests with aspen and pine trees, streams and rivers and the majestic mountains are just some of the other subjects that make plein air painting in Steamboat Springs such a pleasure and it is my privilege to take the members of the Watercolor Workshop to paint in some of my favorite old haunts.
